Training

Having a dog in your life should provide you with great joy and companionship, not extra burden or an endless source of frustration, take a look at the various training services we offer. We look forward to working with you and you dog to make your relationship that much more enjoyable!

If you're looking to raise and train a happy, healthy and well adjusted dog, you've come to the right place. It is our goal here at Royal K9 to help you properly care for, socialize and train your dog in a positive, non-violent yet highly effective manner. 

Puppy Kindergarden

For puppies ages 7-16 weeks of age. These classes run on a 4 week schedule.  We cover socialization, mouthing, teething, grooming, handeling, housetraining, and so much more. If you are interested contact us to be put on the list.

Private Classes

These classes are an hour long and in a undistracted setting one on one with the trainer. From dealing with behavior problems, such as jumping, stealing, aggression, etc to learning new behaviours like sit, down, come, walk on leash to recall. You can start with a puppy of 7 weeks of age, as soon as you bring him home. Or if you are awaitng the arrival of your new family member and have some questions to get you started, feel free to start even before you bring him home.

These classes are sold separtately or in packages.

Group Classes

These classes are for distraction and socialization. They run on Saturdays at 1pm - 2pm. Please note the time change. 

Behavior Consulation & Modification

Done in a private class setting.

Rally Obedience

Do you want to compete and put a fun obedience title on your dog. This is a great sport for teamwork and is alot of fun.

Basic Manners/Commands

Taught in private classes with leadership for control.

Conformation Handeling

Do you have a purebred dog that you would like to show at dog shows, well these classes are made for you to learn how the sport works and how to teach your dog to compete at dog shows. Classes are being held now on Tuesdays from 8pm-9pm starting in February. Call ahead to confirm class.

Competitive obedience

If you would like to compete in CKC or AKC obedience or in Rally obedience, i can help you from start to finish to prepare and to complete your titles

Agility

Visit the agility page - Agility will resume on February 11th 2012 (Saturday) 2pm - 3pm. 

Kids Camps

Classes designed for children and their pets.  They learn alot about their dogs, how to care for them and do fun things like games and arts and crafts.

Educational Seminars/Lectures

Book Angie Parsons to come and speak to your group. Her talks can be tailored to fit your needs on numerous topics.

There are no training classes private or other held on long weekends. If you want to attend a scheduled drop in class, it is a good idea to call ahead to make sure that the class is still going ahead.
