Your Dog Doesn't Need Another Class.
They Need the Right Intervention.
If you’ve tried group classes…
watched YouTube videos…
or been told to “just be more consistent” —
and nothing actually changed…
This isn’t because your dog is broken.
And it’s not because you’re failing.
It’s because obedience isn’t the problem.
I'm Not an Obedience Trainer.
I’m a Behavior Specialist — and I Get Sh*t Done.
Here’s the hard truth most trainers won’t say:
A dog can sit, down, and stay perfectly
and still:
explode on leash
guard resources
panic around people or dogs
ignore you the moment real life shows up
That’s because obedience is surface-level.
Behavior is psychological.
I work with:
reactivity
fear-based behaviors
aggression
shutdown dogs
dogs that have been “trained” multiple times with no real change
I work with the humans — because behavior doesn’t live in a vacuum.
Why Private Training (In-Person or Virtual) Works — When Nothing Else Has
1. Your Dog Gets Trained in the Environment Where the Problem Actually Happens
Not in a room full of distractions you’re not ready for yet.
Private sessions allow us to:
slow things down
remove pressure
build clarity
fix what’s being reinforced daily
That’s where real change starts.
2. Virtual Training Still Works — Because Behavior Isn't About Location
I don’t need to “see your dog perform.”
I need to understand what’s happening, when, and why.
Virtual sessions are powerful for:
leash issues
reactivity
aggression - Resource guarding
household rules and structure
human timing, energy, and decision-making
dogs that shut down in new environments
building Confidence
barking, stealing, door manners, excitability
If your dog lives with you — that’s where the work matters.
3. You Don't Get a Script. You Get a Strategy.
No fluffy bulls*t plans.
No “just reward the calm” nonsense.
You get:
real-world explanations
clear direction
accountability
tools that make sense for your dog
A Few Training Truths You Need to Hear
👉 Behavior doesn’t improve with repetition — it improves with clarity.
If your dog keeps repeating a behavior, it’s because it’s working for them.
👉 Calm isn’t taught by food alone.
Food can reinforce behavior — it doesn’t fix emotional state. Majority of people reward what they don’t want.
👉 Management is not training.
Avoiding triggers doesn’t teach your dog how to handle them, and just builds more stress in you.
👉 If your dog ignores you, it’s not defiance.
It’s confusion, stress, or a lack of Leadership & Follow through..
If You're Serious About Change, Start Here
Everything I do starts with an Evaluation.
That’s where we:
break down what’s actually happening
identify what’s being reinforced (often unintentionally)
map out a clear, realistic plan forward
No guesswork.
No pressure.
No wasting time.
If you’re ready to stop managing the problem
and start fixing it —
you know where to find me.
