Group classes that build confidence and connection
Structured classes designed to strengthen your skills, build your dog’s focus, and create calm, confident behaviour in real-life environments.
Certain group classes are only available to Royal K9 clients who’ve completed a private session.
Real-World Practice. Lasting Confidence.
Group classes are the next step for owners who’ve built a foundation through private training and are ready to practice around new distractions.
Each class is small, supportive, and structured to help you refine the communication, focus, and calm you’ve developed one-on-one.
You’ll work alongside like-minded owners while your dog learns to stay composed around other dogs, people, and real-life situations. The result is teamwork, confidence, and consistency that carry into everyday life.
In each class you will:
Strengthen focus and reliability around other dogs and distractions.
Practice leadership and communication skills in varied environments.
Build calm greetings, recall, and loose-leash handling.
Receive individualized feedback and support from Angie throughout.
what you'll
learn in class
Each group program blends structure, repetition, and exposure which are the essential elements
of real-world success. Classes focus on practical, achievable progress rather than perfection.
Class sizes are limited to ensure personal attention and a positive environment for everyone.
How it works
Angie offers multi-week programs with topics such as:
Weekly group walks
Loose leash manners & impulse control
Dog show handling conformation classes
Basic obedience & relationship building
Engagement & real-life distraction
Certain group classes are available exclusively to Royal K9 clients who’ve completed their evaluation and at least one private training session.
This ensures that every participant comes in with a shared foundation, making classes smoother and more productive for both dogs and owners.
Bold when it needs to be, loving when it matters most

“I met Angie in September 2022. My 1-year-old Rottweiler was difficult to walk. She was on leash reactive and would lunge at dogs. I cried at my first two sessions with Angie as this was a huge issue affecting my personal life and relationship and I was relieved to be receiving help. Since my personal training sessions with Angie, I have learned so much and I am now able to walk my dog on busy routes. Angie taught me valuable skills to help me handle my dog on lash and she taught me the importance of self-confidence. Angie is so supportive, I would even send her videos of my walks and she would provide feedback.
I now participate in group walks to continue practicing my leash handling and confidence. I would highly recommend Angie as she is very kind and respectful to everyone’s unique situation with their dog.”

“I highly recommend Angie! In a couple classes she has taught me the importance of boundaries and structure. I have always had dogs and wish that I took her classes sooner in life so I could enjoy my dogs as much as I do now. Her common sense methods are easy to follow and set you up for life! She keeps it simple and uncomplicated. Extremely high recommend!”

“I had trouble with understanding why my dog was aggressive towards strangers. I reached out for Angie to help and was SO thankful she did. She helped me understand my boy and what tools to use. Explained his body language for me to understand him better and honestly saved his life in doing so. I highly recommend Royal K9 and Angie's training! She changed our lives for the better. Thank you SO much Angie, I mean that from the bottom of my heart!”
